If you need to cover an area fast, stabilize a hillside or plant an indestructible plant in your 'hell strip' garden near the street, this is the plant for you.  Bulbine is a succulent like plant, with fleshy 1 ft long stems, and spikes of yellow blooms throughout spring and fall.  Although this plant does best in full sun, it will bloom almost as well in part shade.
