Mad Dog skullcap is an important medicinal plant, considered to be a strong nervine and a sedative.  One of the finest nervines, used to nourish and calm the nervous system. It is low growing to 1 foot, and creeps quickly, so that it can become invasive. Grow in part shade with plenty of water. Grow in containers to prevent it from becoming a weed. Pretty small blue flowers.
